Here at Eastland Dental Center, we see dental emergencies every single day. Whether someone has a broken tooth, had their tooth knocked out, are traveling and have inflammation, or are experiencing pain, we take care of it. If it is a concern to the patient, it is a concern to us.

If your dental emergency occurs during office hours, we can take care of you immediately. We can see patients anytime, even on the weekends. We are very concerned when someone has a dental emergency, as it can encompass pain, bleeding, swelling, or a broken or missing tooth, an ulcer in the mouth, a crack in a tooth, toothache, or soreness in the gums. We like to get these patients in as quickly as possible, most likely the same day if possible.

The treatment for a dental emergency depends upon the situation. If there is inflammation from an infection, we will treat it with antibiotics and any other treatment necessary. We may place a filling or a crown on a broken or chipped tooth to help protect and strengthen it. Treatment varies on the service we need to provide, but in cases of a dental emergency, our goal is to get you comfortable and out of pain as fast as possible!

We obviously like to treat problems early, before they become dental emergencies. That’s why we recommend you come in for your three month or six month checkups and cleanings. We are often able to avoid most dental emergencies with prevention or early diagnosis and treatment. But when a dental emergency does strike, we like to treat it as soon as possible before it becomes an even bigger problem.

You can call Eastland Dental Center anytime for a dental emergency. Whether you are in town or traveling, we can assist you to help you get comfortable and on your way!
