White teeth are a sign of a healthy, well-maintained smile. Patients who want to achieve this kind of a smile may be able to do so with the help of Dr. Milligan and the staff at Eastland Dental Center. Whiter teeth can signify confidence and pride. Patients may find that their teeth begin to yellow and discolor over time just from the foods and drinks they enjoy regularly. Others may be genetically predisposed to less vibrant smiles. No matter what the reason, many patients can use teeth whitening methods in Bloomington to rejuvenate and restore their pearly whites.
Dr. Milligan offers two primary teeth whitening methods in Bloomington. The first method is the in-office whitening. Using KöR brand products, Dr. Milligan offers this chair-side service to patients who want a brighter smile faster. This is the strongest whitening product on the market, and allows patients to whiten their teeth up to eight shades whiter in just about one hour. The dentist will brush on special bleaching gel, and then use a light to activate the ingredients that help remove the stains from the tooth’s enamel. Once complete, the patient can go about the rest of their day with their new, rejuvenated smile.
Another option available to patients is the Whitening for Life program. When patients initially sign up for this program, they will receive a custom whitening tray. This is made from an impression of the patient’s teeth, and is used regularly with whitening gel to whiten teeth in the privacy of the patient’s own home. This can be done for a few weeks at a time, or on a regular basis to maintain the whiter smile. When patients maintain their regular recall appointments with Dr. Milligan, they will receive additional whitening gel as a reward for visiting the dental office and taking pride in the health of their smile.
Dr. Milligan of Eastland Dental Center is proud to offer both KöR chair-side whitening and the Whitening for Life program to help patients maintain not only healthy smiles, but also beautiful ones.
