Where can I go in Bloomington for safe teeth whitening services?

A bright smile is something everyone strives for. Even when the smile is healthy, it is not always attractive. This is when cosmetic dentistry solutions are beneficial. Drs. Mike and Marisa Milligan of Eastland Dental Center are here to help patients achieve the smile they’ve always wanted with the use of teeth whitening solutions. Bloomington area patients can learn about safe alternatives to over-the-counter bleaching treatments.
Take-Home Whitening

The take-home whitening kits are custom-made for patients. Impressions are made of the upper and lower dental arch to ensure proper fit and function. Patients are given bleaching gels to use in the trays and wear over the dental arch to gradually brighten the teeth. Patients can also continue to whiten long after their initial treatment by using the gels through our Whitening for Life program. Patients who maintain their dental visits for cleanings and examinations will continue to receive bleaching gels to use over time to keep their smile bright and beautiful. This method is often preferred.

In-Office Whitening

Our practice uses the Zoom! whitening treatment for patients who want effective results the same day. This method can achieve brightening up to eight shades whiter in just one visit. It starts with a cleaning. Then the dental hygienist puts a barrier gel onto the gum tissue to protect it. Bleaching gel is brushed onto the surfaces of the teeth, and a special light activates the ingredients, which pull the stains from deep within the enamel and bring forth a brilliant appearance.

Drs. Mike and Marisa Milligan and the team of Eastland Dental Center work closely with patients to determine the best possible option for their whitening treatment. Contact us today by calling (309) 663-4711 to schedule an appointment.
