Dental Implants

Missing a Tooth? Consider a Single Tooth Implant

It only takes one missing tooth to affect your smile and oral health. A missing front tooth can leave an unsightly gap in your smile. A missing molar can impact your bite or cause adjacent teeth to shift out of position. If you have lost a tooth due to injury or decay, a single dental implant provides a viable solution to restore your smile. At Eastland Dental Center, we offer exceptional dental implant services to residents of Bloomington and surrounding communities.

Why Choose an Implant to Replace a Missing Tooth?

Implants are a popular dental procedure for replacing missing teeth, and for a good reason. By choosing an implant to replace a missing tooth, you can benefit from:

  • A restored smile
  • A durable, permanent replacement tooth
  • Prevention of bone loss
  • Better ability to chew
  • Ease of maintenance and care
  • Improved oral health

Drs. Mike Milligan and Marisa Milligan will ensure your single dental implant is a perfect fit, so it will seamlessly fill the gap left by your missing tooth. Your new implant will look and function like a natural tooth. An implant that replaces a front tooth will restore your smile beautifully with no one the wiser due to its natural tooth appearance.

Implants are permanent structures that integrate into your jawbone for stability and support. They won’t come loose when you chew, enabling you to eat all your favorite foods. As implants replace the root of your tooth, they prevent bone loss that often happens when teeth go missing. An implant will also provide stability for adjacent teeth to keep them from shifting. It will be as easy to care for as the rest of your teeth, requiring nothing more than regular brushing, flossing, and bi-annual cleaning.

Single Tooth Implant Cost

The reasonable cost is another advantage of a single dental implant, making it a practical, long-term solution to replacing a missing tooth. At Eastland Dental Center in Bloomington, Illinois, we work with you to help you get the implant treatment you need.
